According to People magazine on Tuesday, a wife finds her husband who had been missing for nine years. Karen Marx, 48, of New London, Wisconsin never stopped searching for her husband. Nine years later, she was thrilled when she tracked him down through Facebook and found out he was living in the same state all those years. Karen's excitement was short lived after she discovered her husband is married to someone else. She described her discovery as "shocking."

Adam L. Marx disappeared in 2005, without telling his wife or without leaving a note. He never called to give an explanation. USA Today said he just vanished leaving Karen with a lot of his debts. Disappearing seems to have been a pattern for Adam. When he and Karen first met at Outagamie County Fair, he had been married to his first wife for only six weeks. After divorcing his first wife in 2001, he married Karen a year later. She was already a mother of three, and he had two children of his own. Shortly after they were married, he disappeared. That time, he left a note. He returned to Karen a few months later.
Despite her concerns, Karen took him back and even spent $401,000 on a new house in Clinton, Montana for them and their combined family. Adam quickly began racking up debt with payday loans.
Adam was investigated by the police and faces charges of bigamy, fraud and making a false statement on a marriage license claiming his third wife was his first wife. He appeared in court several weeks ago and now faces up to six years in prison if convicted of fraud and three-and-a-half years if found guilty of bigamy. During the police investigation, Adam allegedly told court officials that he thought Karen had taken care of their divorce while he was missing.
