Dog Beats Seven Human Candidates To Post Of Mayor

Weird things are really happening everywhere as a dog named Duke has beaten seven humans to the post of a mayor.

The dog saw off seven human candidates including local shop owner Richard Sherbrook, who was reported to have polled fewer than half the votes of his canine opponent. Duke, who is now the mayor of Cormorant, a little town in Minnesota, USA is entitled to salary, but will be paid in food.

Local reports say here are 12 people currently resident in Cormorant, who each paid a dollar to vote in the mayoral election. This is so weird and funny. Imagine a dog beating someone in Nigeria to the post of a Local Government Chairman?
